Josh was just like a little boy when we got to the airport. He made sure we had a seat next to the window so he could watch the planes land and take-off. The grin on his face was priceless! I almost asked the pilot if I could get him a set of airplane wings.
On Tuesday we met up with Paul and Kelci and took Disneyland by storm. Paul is a Disneyland junkie and could go from sun-up to sun-down without a break. We followed him from ride to ride and had a blast! Included in the list were: space mountain, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the haunted mansion. Eventually we made my brother stop and eat lunch. We went to ESPNZone and sat on the recliners. Now Josh wants dining recliners in our house.
After our break, we headed to California Adventures and enjoyed the rides there. Kelci and I petered out around 6 and went back to the hotel, but our guys stayed until the park closed. When they came back, they shared stories of their "gay" experience. When they were on the Matterhorn, they were having problems getting the seat belt done up because they both sat in the same seat, and the attendant said, "I've had bigger couples than you fit before." And when they were in another line, they were talking with a lady about Josh's shirt. He said that his wife had gotten it for him and she looks straight at Paul and says "you have good taste." How funny is that!
Wednesday we again had fun at the two Disneyland parks. Josh and I took it slow for the first little while, finding Snow White's wishing well and walking through Sleeping Beauty's castle. We also went on it's a small world and some of the cute little kid rides that Paul wouldn't even think of going on. We met up and continued until the end of the day enjoying more rides and attractions. Josh enjoyed his first time at Disneyland and likes Splash Mountain the best. We rode it three times that day and got absolutely soaked.
